Hi, my name is Sukhi, a Border Collie, and I am a special needs dog because I have epilepsy, but it is controlled by medication. My name means Happy Spirit and that describes me very well. I came to rescue because my former owner is ill.
I am spayed, vetted, two years old and hoping for a home where I can provide companionship and enjoy consistency and stability.
I am a dainty 30 pounds. I walk well on lead, had basic obedience training, behave nicely in the house, and I travel well in the RV and car. I am used to other dogs and play well with them.
I am affectionate and sweet-natured, but also attentive to threats; I can assert myself if there is need to be a watchdog. I love to cuddle and I love to work: I am very smart, intuitive and so happy to learn new tricks and games. I need physical exercise and mental challenges in a calm and loving home. Am I your dog?
